A PRAYER FOR A LADY WHO STRUGGLES
Heavenly Father today is a day that you have made, and as you teach us in your most holy word, we will rejoice and be glad in it. It is the privilege of us humans to be able to come before such an awesome God as you are and bring our petitions. We thank you.
Today, we come on behalf of our good friend and your child. Father she is going through a difficult time and needs your guidance, to sense your presence.
What she is going through may have caught her off guard, but we know heavenly Father it has not done so to you. We know this is not a surprise to you and that in some way it fits in your divine will. We know that for some reason you have allowed this for her good.
However as human beings, we can't understand as we should, we can’t see as we should and we don’t trust as we should. When we don’t understand and the way seems dark, then we become fearful and doubtful.
Today, Father she needs your help in her spiritual battle. You teach us when we lack wisdom; we are to ask of you. Today, in this trial, our friend needs your wisdom, your comfort and peace.
I pray that you will wrap your arms of strength around her. Envelope her in your blanket of grace and mercy. Fill her with your peace. Let the warmth of your presence and the reality of your love sooth her heart, mind, body and soul.
We pray for her victory over this trial in this day and the days to come. We pray for your peace to ease her mind of worry. Help her to cast all care upon you, knowing that you care for her.
We ask these things in the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.
