Early on the morn’ of the week’s first day,
An angel appeared, to roll the stone away;
Soon a group arrived, to prepare His body dead,
The angel proclaimed, “Christ arose!" as He said.
Excitedly then the Good News they gave,
Rejoice, He’s alive and has conquered the grave!
