Preacher Man

Well, I recall like it was today,
At that alter where I prayed,
There I fell down on my knees,
Begging God to set me free;
It was then I made things right,
Darkness all gone and wonderful light,
For to me God's Word you preached,
Preacher Man!

Preacher Man, Preacher Man,
Preach it now, preach it again;
Tell me how Christ freed me from sin,
And that he's coming back again,
Preacher Man!

Yeah once my world was tumblin' down,
Satan had me spinning around,
Through his lies he troubled my mind,
Caused me to fret and robbed me of time;
Then to me God's word you spoke,
Opened my eyes, and filled me with hope,
Now to you, my peace I owe,
Preacher Man.

Yeah Preacher Man, Preacher Man,
Preach it hard, preach it strong;
Help me do good, and keep me from wrong,
Preach it over and over again,
Preacher Man!

Now Christian I’m telling you,
God's got work for us all to do,
Some to lift their voices in song,
Some to give helping others along;
But the man God used the most,
Preaching in the power of the Holy Ghost,
He's the one that we all know as,
Preacher Man.

Yeah Preacher Man, Preacher Man,
Preach it loud, preach it strong;
Help me do good and keep me from wrong,
Preach it over and over again,
Preacher Man!

Yeah Preacher Man, Preacher Man,
Preach it now, preach it again;
Tell me how Christ freed me from sin,
And that he's coming back again,
Preacher Man!

Yeah preach it over and over again,
Preacher Man!

Preach it over and over again,
Preacher Man!

Preach it over and over again,
Preacher Man!
