YOU PROMISED
Written for and dedicated to Edith and Michael Ragan

performed by Chad Muncy
Verse 1:

We are gathered here together,
With all our friends and family,
And we enter into the presence of God above;
He holds her hands so tenderly,
She smiles at him so sweetly,
We listen to them exchange their vows of love.

Verse 2:

As the music was playing soft and low,
He whispered, “Sweetheart, I love you so,
And today you’ve made my dreams come true,”
She said; “I’m so happy to be by your side,
I’ve waited so long to be your wife"
Smiling she said, “I love you to.”

He said, “I want you to be my bride,
To stand forever by my side,
And from your love, I will never ever part;
I vow to love and cherish you,
To never place anyone one above you,
“I promise, with all of my heart.”

She said, “I take you as my husband to,
My love will be forever true,
Just as it has, from the very start;
I vow to always be by your side,
My love for you will never die,
“I promise, with all of my heart.”

The preacher said, “I introduce to you,
This couple whose love is true,
And may nothing on earth, ever tear them apart;
Now as you become man and wife,
God grant you joy for all your life,
Since you promised, with all of your heart.”

“Since you promised, with all of your heart.”

Remember, “You promised, with all of your heart.”

"Since you promised, with all of your heart."

“Michael, You may kiss your bride.”
